BO's worst nightmare: He can't fix the coming inflation or unemployment with a speech!

It was so much fun to be a community organizer!

It was so much for fun to tell Dem primary voters what they wanted to hear:

I will close GITMO....

I will repeal "don't ask, don't tell".....

I will sign FOCA on my first day on the job......

I will withdraw our troops from Iraq......

I will renegotiate NAFTA.......

It's a lot more difficult to sit in the Oval Office, as Pres BO is learning every day.

The stimulus program is now under scrutiny.

So far, the money is still in the bank and everybody is complaining about the bureaucratic requirements.

Unemployment jumped to 9.4%

Inflation is headed our way and BO can't stop with a speech. ARTHUR B. LAFFER has a warning for BO and the rest of us: Get Ready for Inflation and Higher Interest Rates---The unprecedented expansion of the money supply could make the '70s look benign!

And Selling The Stimulus is getting harder to do!

The Wash Post:
Obama's Recovery Plans Hit Hurdles!

William McGurn has looked at the numbers:
The Obama Numbers Are Pure Fiction!

Even the AP is now admitting:
The stimulus isn’t working!

The Wash Times:
The stimulus isn't working, no matter what Obama says.

There are bureaucratic problems everywhere:
State firms cry foul over stimulus projects'

Overseas, the bad guys are challenging BO every other minute:
NKOREA ISSUES NUKE THREAT

Chavez and Iran are not too impressed with the new president! They hated Bush and laugh at BO! Wonder why?

Over in Europe, where they treat BO like Mick Jagger, the voters have decided to go anti-BO:
Why Is the Right Doing So Well in Europe?

Back home, the polls are starting to show that BO may be a nice guy but his policies are not:

"Today's Rasmussen survey finds that voters now trust Republicans over Democrats on six often issues, most notably the economy, 45 percent to 39 percent. Another one is government ethics, 35-29. And immigration, by a wide 43-29 margin" (Power Line)

I hope that The White House reads this one: For Obama, the hardest part is yet to come

Here is an unreported fact about BO vs the Dem majority in Congress:

"At home, Democrats are balking at giving Obama money to proceed with the prison shutdown unless and until he can assure them that the detainees won't be sent to U.S. prisons.

The Senate voted 90-6 last month to reject his request for funding to start the shutdown process. Even as Obama headed to Germany on Thursday, the House voted 412-12 to bar Guantanamo detainees from flying on commercial aircraft in the U.S. if they're released here.

On Afghanistan, where he's sending more troops to fight a resurgent Taliban, Obama's facing complaints from the party's liberal wing.

Last month, 51 House Democrats voted against the $96.7 billion emergency war spending bill, largely because they objected to the lack of a plan for the Afghanistan war.

"I get a sense of mission creep," said Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore."

I get a feeling that the honeymoon is over.

For some, and specially those invested in the personality cult, BO can't do wrong.

For most of us, we will measure results vs expectations!

The Republicans are in a great position to make a huge comeback in the 2010 midterms!
